Boat Transfer to Ile D'Ambre island.
The hiking trip enables you to meet face-to-face the hidden secrets of the tropical forest and learn more about the concept of conservation across the island.
Discover ruins, volcanic crater & fresh water cave.
Snacks, water & juice are provided.
Lunch Time at around 12:30 pm.
End of excursion at around 3:30 pm.

The Hiking Trip at Ile D'Ambre starts at 09:00 am where you will be welcomed by our friendly and professional guide who will provide you with a short briefing and safety measures for a memorable hiking day! Then, you will have a short boat transfer in a private speed boat heading for Ile D'Ambre Island situated just inside the lagoon at the north east of Mauritius.
As part of this enriching trip, you will pass through the exotic and newly planted endemic trees; taking your route to a network of trails covering this 140 hectare island.
Also, you will discover some of the historic ruins found on the island dating back to 1750, and explore its conservation areas.
You will also be able to see the volcanic crater and fresh water cave while learning more about the island’s history from the professional guide who will accompany you during the entire day.
Last but not least, a full Mauritian fiesta (charcoal grill chicken sausage, fish, garlic bread, pasta, banana flambee, vegetarian menu on request: sausage, grill corn, pasta, garlic bread, drinks: local rum, jungle juice, soda, beer, water) will be served at the lunch area at around 12:30 pm.
After the lunch and siesta you will make it to the mangroves for swimming and snorkelling with a diversity of fish (mask and tuba available) .
At around 3:00 pm will be the return trip to the mainland.
